Rihanna Wears C-Word Necklace to Check out a Jesus Statue

Rihanna's been having a blast this week in Brazil, where she's performed in itty bitty hot pants, partied with Katy Perry, and visited some of the country's most famous landmarks, including the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio and its adjacent chapel.

While Rihanna was relatively covered up in a yellow blouse and denim Daisy Dukes, there was one aspect of her ensemble that couldn't possibly be considered Catholic chapel-friendly: Her gold plate necklace, which was emblazoned with a very unpleasant 4-letter word that begins with a "C."

It's likely that Rihanna just hadn't thought her accessories through on this particular pilgrimage. There's also the fact that she uses the C-word pretty liberally, even applying a modified version (NSFW-ish) of it as a nickname for her buddy Katy Perry in public on Twitter. She definitely didn't intend to offend.

William and Kate to Open a Children's Cancer Center

Prince William and wife Kate Middleton (that's the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to us common folks) announced today that they will open a children's cancer center at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Princess Di was the former president of the London hospital, and Prince William was appointed to the position in 2007.

Wills and Kate have reportedly been quietly researching various charitable organizations in an effort to decide which cause is most near and dear to them. The royal couple will visit the center on September 29, where they will meet staff and patients and take a tour of the facility.

Kate seems to have plans for other major charitable endeavors as well. "The Duchess is using the next few months to get to get to know a number of charitable and other causes better, so she can make well-informed decisions about her future role," a palace spokesman said in a statement.

In a world filled with daily Lohan shenanigans and celebs who take themselves way too seriously, it's great to see this classy couple using their influence to help make the world a better place.

Selena Gomez Makes a Second Trip to the Hospital

Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital after filming The Tonight Show Thursday night, and one trip just didn't do it -- TMZ reports the starlet was taken back to an LA hospital Saturday for blood pressure issues.

The Disney star, who's dating teen sensation Justin Bieber, complained of nausea and a severe headache Thursday. The nausea component, of course, sparked a flurry of pregnancy rumors about the 18-year-old actress. And, they're totally not true.

New reports indicate the starlet's been in and out of the hospital for blood pressure issues, but doctors have yet to figure out what's wrong.

Her rep released a statement after her overnight hospital stay Thursday, announcing that Selena was undergoing "routine tests."

An insider said no one knew anything was wrong during her talk show appearance that night.
"She did a backstage interview and hung out with Jim Carrey after the show. The Tonight Show people didn't even know she wasn't feeling well," the source said (via Us magazine).

Selena was supposed to kick off her 10-city tour at Santa Monica Place, but the concert was rescheduled for Monday. As of Sunday morning, the show had not been rescheduled again.

Kristen Stewart Smiles on the Red Carpet at 2011 MTV Movie Awards

Kristen Stewart surprised us all when she actually smiled at the MTV Movie Awards tonight! The starlet looked great in an orange beaded dress with a flirty blowout and black heels.

The starlet was a winner tonight during the show too: She and Robert Pattinson won Best Kiss for the third time in a row! She didn't get a kiss from her leading man, but Rob did give a kiss to Taylor Lautner after running down to him in the audience. Oh my.

The 2011 MTV Movie Awards on June 5th at 9 EST promise a fun, light-hearted cinematic night with SNL host Jason Sudeikis. Some highlights to watch out for: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson being in the same room, Emma Watson giving a first-time sneak preview of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and a much-anticipated Best Kiss Award. The youthful evening will also feature an appearance from mid-scandal celeb Blake Lively and performances from Lupe Fiasco, Trey Songz and the Foo Fighters.

Vanessa Hudgens Was NOT Doing Drugs at Coachella

First it was the naked photo scandal, and now Vanessa Hudgens is under fire for being a druggie at Coachella this weekend. But, she's not -- it's just a sweet tooth, her rep says.

At the hippie fest, Hudgens was photographed reaching into a bag and licking conspicuous white stuff off her fingers, which everyone concluded was a certain substance. Drugs are almost as ubiquitous as ethereal flowy skirts and '60s jewelry at the music festival, but cocaine for Hudgens? Not so much. Try melted white chocolate, her rep told E!.

There's one constant amidst Hudgens' scandals: she's got a boy to back her up! New beau Josh Hutcherson, who took in the weekend's performances by her side, is filling ex Zac Efron's shoes very well by supporting her...and trying to look like a hipster himself.

Are Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Rekindling?

Is Miss Miley Cyrus off the market again? The actress has reportedly rekindled her relationship -- or at least is making an attempt at it -- with ex flame Liam Hemsworth. A source told E!: "They've been hanging out a lot. They've been trying to do it away from the cameras."

Apparently the two have realized they still have some unresolved feelings for each other and want to give their romance another go. Just recently, Miley announced that she is "not single." Now we get why!

Miley has been entertaining love with another hot Aussie -- her So Undercover co-star Joshua Bowman, with whom she was "inseparable" at the flick's wrap party, but there's only room for one Australian lover!

She told an Australian radio show: "I don't want to cross out the Australian boys but I may or may not be single ... I love Australian boys though obviously. Liam and I are very close, I'm not going to comment too much, but you guys don't have to worry about that ... I'm definitely not coming to Australia single."

Sounds like she might be trying to sort out her romantic feelings, but one thing seems certain: she won't be flying solo anytime soon!

Sure, Vanessa Hudgens' latest flick Sucker Punch opened to abyssmal reviews on Friday. But the former Disney starlet certainly didn't let that get her down on Saturday night, when she hosted a party at Las Vegas' Pure Nightclub at Caesar's Palace.

Vanessa, outfitted in a snakeprint dress and far too many chains, seemed to really enjoy herself at the bash. She is presumably having a lot of fun being single, although some believe she's been cavorting with her Journey 2 co-star Josh Hutcherson.

Robert Pattinson Calls Justin Bieber Out on a Lie

You might think Robert Pattinson and Justin Bieber are brothers in much-beloved hair, but it appears it just isn't so.

Bieber recently told UK tabloid The People that he and Pattinson bonded at an industry party over their famous locks, saying, "One day Robert Pattinson came up to me at a party and said, 'For whatever reason, people love our hair and it's always a great ice-breaker with girls.'"

"He is like, 'Hey, my name's Robert. Want to touch my hair?' I thought he was joking, but it really works."

Now Pattinson, who is hard at work promoting his upcoming film Water for Elephants, says that encounter never happened. He told MTV (via EOnline) on Friday, "I've never met this guy. I saw that as well. I was like, 'You're really famous, man—what are you doing? You don't need to use me to make up stories!"

Maybe Bieber was just embellishing for the sake of avoiding talking about his private life. Which is something you'd think Pattinson would understand, given the constant speculation about his relationship with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.

Selena Gomez waved to fans as she arrived at a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday. We wonder if she gushes about beau Justin Bieber...or maybe she'll stay totally mum.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel love separation is confirmed

The singer "Justin Timberlake" and actress "Jessica Biel" have ended their relationship, which began in 2007 as a joint communiqué which echoes the music publication Billboard. In response to rumors of the media on the status of the relationship between Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have confirmed that mutually agreed to continue with their lives separately,  the statement said.

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen celebrated the arrival of their second child around seven months ago, and they' ve remained very secretive about the tot’s name. But they're now thought to have chosen Elula Lottie Miriam Cohen, Us Weekly magazine has claimed. sla, who also has a three-year-old daughter Olive, recently joked she calls her baby ‘Taliban’ in a bid to keep her out of the public eye.

Speaking about why she is so secretive, the actress told Elle magazine: “With the name, I keep making jokes like, ‘It’s called Taliban Perez Baron Cohen.’“I just feel my children didn’t choose a career in the limelight and unfortunately, I get followed.

“I’m not complaining about my job. I’m completely aware of how lucky I am. But until they decide on a job in the public eye, I want to protect their privacy.”

Isla married Sacha in a secret ceremony last year after converting to Judaism. She has also said she feels it’s her responsibility to keep her children out of the public eye.

Miss America Is 'Mature Beyond Her Age'

Newly crowned Miss America, Teresa Scanlan, is very much a Miss: she is only 17 years old. Scanlan is the youngest contestant to win in over 70 years and her parents say they always knew she was wise beyond her years."She's certainly mature beyond her age," her father Mark Scanlan tells the The Lincoln Journal Star. "Most people take her for at least six years older."

Scanlan graduated early from Scottsbluff High School in the spring of 2010 after taking a double load of classes and has deferred enrollment until this fall for Patrick Henry College.Her mother Jamie added: "She's an independent young woman and always has been."

Some think being an old soul may have even hurt her in past pageants: "She didn't win because [the judges] thought she was too mature," Miss Nebraska co-executive director Jay Engel says. "Teresa is very, very well-spoken. She's very intelligent and talented."

The young beauty's platform was "Eating Disorders: A Generation at Risk" and her talent segment was piano, in which she blew viewers away with a rendition of "White Water Chopsticks" which some believed she composed at a professional level.Scanlan will appear on The View on Monday and ring the NASDAQ Stock Market bell on Tuesday.

Looks like Kim Kardashian has wasted no time nabbing herself a new man after calling it quits with model (and Halle Berry ex) Gabriel Aubry. The reality star was spotted out with NBA player Kris Humphries in NYC last night!

They partied together at Provocateur lounge in the Big Apple after Kim made an appearance at the Z100 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden, where she canoodled with Justin Bieber backstage! Then it was off for some adult fun at the swanky NYC hotspot, where Kim K and Mr. Humphries apparently partied until 2am!

They tried hard not to be photographed together, but were unable to avoid the cameras as they were stepping foot into Kim's hotel after the evening's festivities drew to a close.

After splitting with on-again, off-again beau Reggie Bush earlier this year, Kim's dating a handful of gentleman, including NFL star Miles Austin. Looks like she's back on the pro athlete circuit after dating the model with Humphries, a 25-year-old player for the New Jersey Nets. However, Kim says she's not specifically looking for athletes, "I'd rather date someone with a good heart," she told Us magazine.

Angelina Jolie Took 'Manners Classes' to Prepare for 'Tourist' Role

Angelina Jolie  plays a refined British woman named Elise Ward in her new flick The Tourist, and to prepare for the role Angie says she took "manners classes!" She says she just wanted to learn how to slow down and have more poise -- it's not like she's a big slob or anything.


She said: "I'm not completely clumsy or gross, but the character takes her time with everything. I'm an American! I do 10 things before breakfast."



Angelina also spoke of her hopes for the futures of her children - Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, and 2-year-old Knox and Vivienne – and how she wants them to look back on their childhoods. Speaking on The Today Show, she said: "Hopefully they are happy, and they know that they were loved, and that they were encouraged to be who they are, and not pushed into something that they're not. Hopefully they'll be the strong, beautiful individuals that they are today, and be happy in their lives, be fulfilled in their lives, and be living their lives honestly.”

The 35-year-old beauty admitted she can’t understand why so many people are fascinated by her but is hopeful interest in her will fade as she gets older. She said: "I don't find myself that interesting in that way. But I feel like it happens to everybody. It's just that it's a weird time right now. There's just so much of all of that, for everybody. It's just, it's a new world. I just assume the older I get, the more it'll go away. The more private I'll become."

Willow Smith Whips Her Candy Cane Hair Back and Forth

Willow Smith popped out of a Christmas gift box and put on quite a show last night at the LA Live 2010 holiday tree lighting at Nokia Plaza. The 10-year-old whipped her candy cane hair back and forth while dancers dressed as wind-up toys rocked out. Willow's parents Will and Jada cheered her on from the audience.

Willow really got everyone in the Christmas spirit with her jam, even though it wasn't as holiday-oriented as the evening's other performances. No one seemed to mind, though -- after all, everyone needs to really up their swagger this time of year.

Willow tweeted after the show: "Had so much fun at L.A Live's Tree Lighting!! Thanks to everyone who came out and whipped their hair (: You guys were awesome!"

Other stars took the stage last night, too, like legend Stevie Wonder, the Plain White T's and even Jersey Shore's Pauly D had a piece of the action. The event also marked the opening of the outdoor ice rink, so Olympic gold medalist  Evan Lysacck made the first laps around the ice to kick things off.

Lamar Odom Wants Khloe Kardashian to Have Twins

Khloe Kardashian and her basketball star husband Lamar Odom are looking forward to starting a family, but Khloe thinks her man has a lot to learn when it comes to biology.

In a joint interview with her sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, she told KIIS-FM DJ Ryan Seacrest: "He asked me, 'Can't we just put two in there?' He's crazy, he thinks it's like that easy."

Kim -- who has recently been romantically linked with model Gabriel Aubry -- also admitted that she is currently dating someone, despite previously saying she wanted to remain single after splitting from NFL stars Reggie Bush and Miles Austin earlier this year.

She said: "I really do want to stay single but it's really hard when you meet amazing people, and gorgeous people. I'm dating -- I'm definitely dating."

Though Ryan didn't directly ask Kim if she was dating Gabriel, he queried whether she would like to meet Halle Berry, the mother of the Canadian hunk's two-year-old daughter Nahla.

Kim replied: "She's beautiful... I may -- I don't know."

The 30-year-old beauty also laughed off the constant scrutiny of her love life, insisting that whenever she steps out with a man, she is not necessarily romantically involved with them.

She said: "If I'm photographed on five different dates, it's assumed I am the town slore, and I could have never hooked up with any of these people.

"Sometimes I just wanna date whoever... even if I never sleep with someone, and I'm photographed with three different guys, they assume I've slept with all three guys."
